I’m smiling thinking about the last time I was in Sudan. The joy on the faces of my family as I waved my camera around to document these moments. I’m hurting thinking about that joy being robbed from them and replaced with utter fear for their lives. I don’t really have the words. Or the capacity. The country will be okay, the country doesn’t even really matter, I just want my people safe.”
